Hi, Im Liz
I am a qualified Psychologist, Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a Registered Member of the BACP.
I have over 14 years of experience working with adults, families, children and young people in various settings. My relevant qualifications and training include BA/BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Criminology and; Diploma Person Centred and Existential Counselling. Additional training includes Social Psychology, Critical Perspectives of self and others, Bereavement and loss, Suicide and traumatic deaths and Supervision.
I am an experienced and trained Bereavement Counsellor supporting children and families who are either facing a serious illness in their lives or who have been bereaved.
I work within the ethical guidelines set out within the BACP and have a current enhanced DBS certificate. All work is therapeutically and professionally supervised according to BACP regulations.
My approach to Counselling, Psychotherapy and coaching is a collaborative one. Which means we work together to understand your difficulties and find your way forward.
I have a range of theories and ideas that I draw from and I offer you a supportive, friendly and honest relationship to work from.
